Panther Parents is a small group of the parents who volunteer their time to generate ideas and assist with initiatives. Monthly meetings are held to discuss how to best serve the parents and families population of Georgia State University. The Panther Parents can be considered the advisory board who are charged with helping to increase the general membership base, sharing ideas for the Association, and assist with implementing specific activities. In conjunction with Georgia State University staff, the advisory board works to plan projects, facilitate the scholarship, and engage with Association members. The Parent Relations team is looking for parents and family members to lend their talents on the volunteer advisory board. If you are interested in more information about the advisory board or would like to request an application, please email Robert Bryant, Student Affairs staff liaison.
